Château Fort - Musée Pyrénéen
The Château Fort – Musée Pyrénéen of Lourdes is a thousand-year-old fortress overlooking the city, housing a rich ethnographic collection that traces the history and culture of the Pyrenees. This project focuses on a powerful visual identity centered around a breathtaking, airy photograph by Yohan Espiaube. The creative direction pairs this expansive landscape with a bold, meticulously crafted typographic composition, designed to reflect the site’s majesty. Originally developed for a visitor leaflet, this aesthetic has since been adapted into large-format displays (4x3) and portrait-oriented posters. The work balances immersive photography with heritage-inspired illustrations and a warm color palette, ensuring a seamless transition between the castle’s rugged history and the museum’s cultural wealth. From the complex layout of the multilingual leaflet to the striking simplicity of the outdoor signage, the design maintains a clear visual hierarchy that invites exploration and makes practical information accessible to all.
